Timothy Keenan, High Performance Technologies, Inc.

Timothy Keenan is Co-Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi), headquartered in Reston, Virginia. As President, Keenan has overall strategic and operational responsibility for HPTi's initiatives in developing extreme systems technologies. As one of the original founders of HPTi, he has helped to develop and grow its culture into a dynamic combination of creative design and disciplined execution. Keenan is adept at new business development and program planning for entrepreneurial organizations and is an acknowledged expert in program capture and competitive strategy development. With over 30 years of technical and managerial experience in the design, development, and integration of leading-edge systems for the federal marketplace, Keenan is consistently sought after to participate in industry studies of large mission-critical software-intensive systems. He is also singled out for his insights into acquisition streamlining.

HPTi was recently recognized by the Society of Financial Service Professionals as the mid- sized American Business Ethics Awards winner for 2009.  This is a national recognition of state-of-the-practice ethics training, programs, and results.  In addition, HPTi received the U.S. Senate Productivity Quality Awards Medallion of Performance Excellence for sustained progress in quality delivery, and was recognized as the 2009 GOVCON Company of the Year in the <$75M revenue category.  The firm is also a CMMI Level 3 independently assessed firm and is a three time winner of the Company as a Responsive Employer (CARE) award for work-life balance and family-friendly policies.

In 2009 The International Business Awards named Keenan the Stevie Award winner for North American Executive of the Year. He was also honored with the Professional Achievement and Entrepreneurship Awards for Ohio State University and named to the Alumni Hall of Fame for Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Keenan graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio State University and    earned his M.B.A. in MIS/Finance from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
